Room for Big Brains

Jülich/Berlin, 19 November 2019 – The Human Brain Project (HBP) is one of the largest scientific projects ever funded by the EU. In its efforts to achieve breakthroughs in understanding the human brain, the project aims to systematically combine neuroscience and high-performance computing technologies and to place these at the disposal of science. An exhibition presented by Forschungszentrum Jülich and the HBP consortium in the foyer of the Reichstag building in Berlin from 28 November to 19 December will showcase the latest findings from HBP research and make the breathtaking complexity of the human brain come alive through spectacular images, exhibits, and film clips. The exhibition entitled “Faszination Gehirn” can afterwards also be visited in the North Rhine-Westphalian Landtag building in Düsseldorf from 21 to 31 January 2020.
