Most of the scientific output of PGI-11 lies in the future. However, here is a selection of recent scientific accomplishments undertaken at the former Aachen institutes, and by scientists of PGI-2 who have now joined PGI-11; these accomplishments are particularly pertinent to the near-term plans for further research in this institute.
