Salaries are paid out in accordance with the Collective Agreement for the Civil Service (TVöD).

At Jülich, internationally outstanding postdocs are given the opportunity to establish their own young investigators groups. Candidates who successfully pass the multistage selection procedure are rewarded with reliable career prospects (tenure track).
