Summer Schools and Laboratory Courses

Specialist summer schools and laboratory courses are organized by the scientific institutes, often in collaboration with centres of higher education and other partner institutions. Courses such as the IFF Spring School, which has been running for more than 45 years, enable personal contacts to be made. They offer participants the chance to learn more about life and work in a research-oriented environment and to deepen their theoretical and experimental knowledge in compact courses. Many summer school graduates return to Jülich later on in their career.
