Offer for epidemiology research on COVID-19
JSC - together with its GCS partners and PRACE - offers computing time and support on its HPC facilities for research on the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Resources for studies dealing with the spreading of the virus or with research on a medical or molecular level are offered unbureaucratically and rapidly to corresponding experts.

Helmholtz GPU Hackathon 2020
The next GPU Hackathon that takes place in Europe will take place at the Helmholtz Information and Data Science Academy (HIDA) in Berlin on September 14-18, 2020. The goal of the 5-day hands-on workshop is for current or prospective user groups of large-scale, GPU-accelerated systems to port their applications to GPU accelerators or to further optimize already ported applications. Deadline for submitting applications is July 14, 2020.
