IEK-3 is focused on the implementation of fundamental and application-oriented research results in innovative products, methods, and processes for electrochemical energy technology. In this context, international cooperation with partners from research and industry is of particular importance. Scientific events are organized and coordinated in the focused research fields of IEK-3. Together with universities, technical colleges, training workshops, and laboratories, IEK-3 contributes to the education of students and pupils.
